It’s been a while since I last posted here; posting on my other blog has taken priority for bit.

Today we also look at two passages and again they are from Mark.

Mark 8:22-26 (NIV)  and   Mark 10:46-52 (NIV)

It is worth mentioning that I have been reading Mark for nearly 30 years and in reading it again this time I am still growing in my understanding of Mark’s Gospel and also in my understanding of who Jesus is and what he has done for us.

These are the only two miracles in Mark’s gospel that deal with blindness and they are two of the last three healing miracles in the entire Gospel.  Jesus now concentrates on teaching his disciples more and more and doing miracles less and less. (more…)
